Akku4Bikes not only offers batteries for bicycles, but also a way of life associated with it: In cooperation with the myclimate foundation, it is the goal and claim of Akku4bikes.ch to eliminate all CO2 emissions in connection with the use of their e-bikes - and thus to promote measurable climate protection and sustainable development.
At myclimate, we issue a certificate for every battery that you purchase from us, which Compensation of all CO2 emissions certified that accrue for the battery. From the extraction of raw materials and the manufacture of the battery to packaging, transport and use to disposal. This Certificate our customers receive together with the ordered battery.
When the battery is used by the end customer on the road, the CO2 emissions occur where the electricity for charging the battery is produced. We offset these emissions for a total of 1000 charging cycles. This currently corresponds to the average lifespan of a battery. We also offset our location and the resulting CO2 emissions together with MyClimate.
